THE MARKS OR SPECIFICATION
The specification of the grinding wheel consists of six basic parts:
ABRASIVE TYPE
GRADE BOND
38A 60 N **VS
ABRASIVE STRUCTURE SIZE
ABRASIVE TYPE
The code for the abrasive used is shown at the
front of the specification and consists of up to three characters, the last of which is a letter.
ABRASIVE SIZE
The next part of the specification defines the size of abrasive used in the wheel.
GRADE
The third item, in the specification is a letter denoting the grade of the wheel.
SOFT MEDIUM HARD VERY HARD

STRUCTURE
The structure number is shown immediately after
the grade letter. Structure number is omitted on stock products.
COARSE
MEDIUM FINE VERY FINE
