Thin jaw pullers

On pulling jobs where clearance behind the component is limited, a thin jaw puller is advantageous. Many such jobs also require wide bearing surfaces on the jaws to give a secure grip. The pullers listed below meet such requirements.

Hydraulic puller kits 1500 series
The use of interchangeable components allows assembly of a variety of pullers at a much reduced cost than buying pullers separately. Detailed below are the tools available within each kit. Power is provided in all kits by the easy operation ‘1500 series’ hydraulic ram.

Basic kit, supplied in metal case, provides: Two twin leg and two triple leg pullers up to 150mm 6in spread and reach.

Same contents as 155000 but supplied in display ‘pullerpack’.

Puller kit, supplied in metal case, provides: Five twin leg and five triple leg pullers up to 250mm 10in spread and reach.

Puller kit, supplied in metal case, provides: Two twin leg and two triple leg pullers up to 150mm 6in spread and reach. One bearing separator capacity 20 - 105mm 3/4 - 4 1⁄4 in, maximum reach 876mm 34 1⁄2 in.

Pickavant Bearing Separator
Each half of the separator features a tapered knife edge and when clamped together these wedge between the bearing and the adjacent component. A conventional puller may be used across the separator body or holding bolts.
