Split Collet Extractor Kit
The split collet is pushed into the centre of the bearing, and then expanded via the hex nut on the end of the collet, until a secure grip is achieved. The slide-hammer is then attached, and provides the neccessary extracting force.
Provides quick and efficient removal of gears, bearings, pinions, seals etc.
Nine different sizes of split collet are available, and a twin beam pulling unit can be used in place of the slide hammmer for controlled application of force, via a force screw.
854 Series Internal & External Leg Type Extractors
A universal pulling tool for both internal and external applications, which can be used in both 2 leg or three leg format.
Using a sliide hammer action, this type of puller is particularly suitable where conventional pullers cannot be used, due to the absence of a shaft, making it ideal for small gears, bearings, pinions, oils seals, ball races etc.
This puller design utilises an adjustable cone, which ensures positive location, and which can be inverted for internal/external applications. Ref. 08545000 is also supplied with a T-Bar & Force Screw, to create the additional option of a manually operated internal or external extractor.
Supplied in a handy metal storage case.
