For digging post holes and removing debris. Lightweight, strong, durable and specifically designed for working on or near live cables and wires. It will open to 370mm and has non-slip rubber end caps. Two differently coloured layers of insulating material indicate when the tool needs replacing. The fibreglass shaft is oil, chemical and water resistant. Tested to 1,000 Volts, conforms to BS 8020:2002, marked with a unique traceability number and includes a certificate of conformity.

Polyfibre contractors tools
The new range of Polyfibre pro shafted solid forged contractors tools are designed to offer the workman
a high degree of fibreglass strength along with the comfort of a profile moulded PYD hand grip. The pultruded polyester resin fibreglass core is coated
with an injection moulded polypropylene sheathing. This produces a very strong shaft, virtually eliminating the danger of handle breakage and potential injury. Polyfibre pro tool handles are highly resistant to most industrial oils, greases and solvents and are largely unaffected by periods of immersion in water, capable of withstanding high voltages and are self extinguishing. The materials used in the manufacture of Polyfibre
pro tool handles will not rot, shrink, dry out or become more susceptible to breakage through long periods of inactivity, this significantly improves safety, strength and reliability in the modern workplace.

Strong, tough and hard wearing forged tools which are light and safe to use.
Manufactured to BS 3388 with their bend strength exceeding the standard.
The corners of the blades are rounded to reduce risk of damage to pipes and cables when in use, and the fibreglass shafts are manufactured from continuous parallel fibres and tested to withstand 10,000 volts. The range features 28”” (711mm) Powerlite shafts and MYD handles for strength and the whole range is manufactured in the UK.

A range of lightweight professional shovels designed to reduce the risk of personal injury when working near live cables. The shaft has insulating properties and in potentially dangerous applications the shorter socket allows the user to hold the fibreglass shaft to avoid the risk of electric shock from the steel socket. Rounded corners on the head significantly reduce the risk of damage to pipes and cables. All models except the fork have round bar treads for comfort and reduced boot wear.
