Tomkat 2 cable and pipe detector
The Tomkat 2 cable locator is a fully functional, industry standard pipe and cable locator, designed and manufactured by Pact Services. Better in design, the Tomkat 2 is rugged, lightweight and packed full of features including a detachable speaker that can be held close to the ear for use in noisy environments. Fingertip controls allow for adjustment of the sensitivity control and enable rapid switching between the Tomkats three operating modes.
The Tomkat 2 is a very effective cable locator and is also used for the location of buried pipes and mains to a depth of 3 meters with three location modes for ease of use.
Power mode - Locates live cables radiating a detachable signal
Radio mode - Locates buried metallic conductors carrying a detachable vlf signal
Generator mode - Locates buried metallic conductors carrying a detachable signal by induction or connection using the signal generator
Batteries - 8 x AA alkaline supplied fitted typical battery life 50 hours intermittent use

Sigen 2 signal generator
The Sigen 2 works in conjunction with the Tomkat 2 cable locator.
There are two ways in which the Sigen 2 operates the first is by applying a signal by induction, the second is by direct connection.
To locate buried services the Sigen 2 signal generator is by far the best tool for the job. The use of the Sigen 2 is recommended in conjunction with the Tomkat 2 cable locator and pipe locator.
Features include - 3 position mode selector switch. Compact robust reliable construction.
Operates on 8 x AA alkaline batteries. Supplied as standard complete with 3-pin plug connector, direct connection leads and earth stake.
