Bench planes
Fine grey iron bases accurately machined and ground for precision and stability in use. Unmachined surfaces are finished with a durable gloss epoxy coating. All planes are supplied with chrome carbon steel cutters. For removal and finishing work, the shorter planes are for fine finishing whilst longer models assist in truing longer edges or wide boards. Corrugated bases reduce friction when used on resinous timbers.
