Micrometer ball attachments
Can be fitted to the anvil of all M & W external micrometers to enable round or irregular surfaces to be measured. The ball is hardened and moves freely to allow contact with the object being measured. Always deduct the ball diameter of 6.5mm/0.25in from any reading.

Micrometer ball attachments
Allows the measurement of curved surfaces with standard external Mitutoyo micrometers. Precision moulded neoprene ball retainer. Hardened and lapped chrome steel ball, 0.200in (5mm) diameter. Reinforced band adds strength and holding power. Fits all micrometers with spindle diameters of 0.250in (6.35mm) and 0.270in (6.86mm).
