Series 154 hole gauges
Designed to be locked in position (with knurled lockscrew) and the diameter measured across the two lobes with a micrometer after withdrawal from the bore. Extra long for gauging deep and shallow holes, slots and similar work. Gauging surface is a full-round with flat bottom; permits use in small holes, grooves, etc. Knurled knob at end of handle is used for size adjustment. Hole size is obtained by measuring over the contact points with a micrometer.
