Uniflex HPQ high performance steel, chrome plated sockets manufactured to exacting standards. American sizes to: ASME B 107.1, SAE AS 954 Stahlwille HPQ sockets are manufactured from selected tough steel alloys. These sockets will not slip off the head of the nut/bolt, nor will they stretch when subjected to heavy loads. They feature extremely thin walls and unbelievably high load capacity.
HPQ sockets are free from cadmium and are therefore
suitable for use on titanium fasteners, as used in the Price aerospace industry, where safety is a crucial factor.

The plating process prevents ‘chrome flake’, a common 12.46 problem found. Firstly the sockets are nickel plate and
then chrome plate. This gives the tool it’s distinctive 12.46 ‘matte’ look, which is intentional and it also makes the 12.46 tool much easier to grip in oily environments.
12.46 Equipped with Anti-Slip Drive (AS Drive) profile which 12.46 permits high transmission of forces to the lands of nuts
and bolts without damaging them.
