NORFLEX® PUR 401 MHF
Abrasion resistant pressure hose; Hose without reinforcement, smooth interior and exterior. Applications: food industry, pharmaceutical industry (FDA, EU guideline): foodstuff, pharmaceutical; foodstuff conveying of: dry, aqueous and acid food (rice, dry food, cereals, sugar, milk powder, powders, coffee, tea, grains, flour, frozen foods), alcohol < 20 %, fatty foodstuff, milk and milk products, dry foodstuff with fatty substances at its surface;
powder spraying, powder coating: e.g. printing industry; pneumatic tube; compressed air hose, cooling water hose, water hose; heating hoses: interior hose for media transfer; pneumatic expansion shafts: round expansion tube, flat expansion tube. Properties: crush resistant, highly flexible, highly abrasion-proof (abrasion resistance about 2.5 to 5 times better than most rubber materials and about 3 to 4 times better than most soft PVC´s), smooth interior and exterior, high tensile strength and tear resistant, polyurethane complies with: FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 and 178.2010, EC guideline 2002/72/ EC incl. the amendment 2008/39/EC and 975/2009, German guideline XXXIX BfR polyurethane, approved by an independent testing laboratory for the complete hose (from an inner diameter of 3,0 mm and Wall Thickness of 3 mm), acc. to EU Directive 2002/72/EC, incl. amending Directive 975/2009 and Regulation No.10/2011, odourless and tasteless, microbe and hydrolysis resistant, good resistance to oil, gasoline and chemicals, good resistance to UV and ozone, very good low temperature flexibility (better than comparable ester-polyurethanes), small bending radiuses, free of softener and halogen

Properties: medium-heavy mode, smooth interior and exterior, flexible, good resistance to alkalis and acids, good resistance to chemicals, good resistance to UV and ozone, free of phthalat, gas and liquid tight, conform to RoHS guideline.
Temperature Range: -5°C to 60°C. Delivery variants: further diameters and lengths available on request, green-transparent (standard), special colours: coloured spiral, full coloured, customer-specific product marking
