Burrs
Roebuck Rotary Burrs
• High performance tungsten carbide rotary burrs • Maximum cutting edge stability
• Premium cutting edge performance
• Cross toothing to reduce chip formation
• Special cross toothing for higher cutting capacity
• Ideal for ‘difficult to cut’ as well as regular materials
• Perfectly suited for a wide variety of material types including: -high alloy steels
-titanium
-nimonic alloys
-unhardened steel
-non-rusting (stainless) steels
-acid resistant steels
-heat resistant steels
-die cast materials and plastics
-brass, copper, cast iron, aluminium
• Wide range of shapes and sizes to suit most applications • Typical applications include:
-edge deburring
-trimming welded joints and welds
-dressing seams -tool making
Safety advise guidance:
• Never use the burrs outside of the recommended speeds as advised in speed guide
• Too fast and the burr will wear prematurely
• Too slow and the burr can cause chipping
• Never completely sink the burr into a void where all sides are cutting at the same time e.g. round hole of burr diameter or less • Never allow the burr to become overheated or even too hot.
• Ensure the correct shape and diameter are selected to suit the application
• Ensure the tool is correctly maintained at all times
• Good working practice is to create a constant cutting at the tool edge by moving the burr in both directions

High-performance tungsten carbide rotary burrs with cross toothing. The cross toothing provides a higher cutting capacity compared with the simple toothing. This particularly has a positive effect on materials which are difficult to cut. Fields of application: for high-alloy steels, non-rusting steels, acid-resistant steels, heat-resistant steels, die casts and plastics. To debur, break edges, trim, process welding seams, surface processing.
